The Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (VABVI) is the only private 501(c)3 non-profit agency to offer free training, services and support to visually impaired Vermonters. By making a contribution, you help with our mission, enabling Vermonters with vision problems, whether blindness or impairment, to achieve and maintain independence.

We work with consumers to provide the skills they need to stay in their own homes. VABVI can do this for less than $1000 annually, much less than the annual cost of nursing home care.

• Leave a legacy through a planned gift - A bequest or gift annuity is a vehicle that is available to demonstrate your continued and long-term support of our mission. By naming VABVI in your will you ensure future services and programs for generations to come. A Gift Annuity can be a tax deduction and you receive a fixed sum each year for life. • Pay tribute in a meaningful way – Consider a meaningful tribute by making a gift in that person’s name to VABVI. This could be for a birthday, anniversary, recognition for an accomplishment or special thanks. We will notify them of your generosity and thoughtfulness.
  
  This method of tribute is also very appropriate as a memorial gift, in lieu of flowers. The closest family member or whomever you specify will be notified of your very thoughtful tribute.
