Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired and The Gibney Family Foundation:
Together fulfilling dreams of independence for the visually impaired.
The collective efforts of several generations of Gibney family members to conserve resources and make an effort to do something for those who face difficult challenges in life resulted in Albert L. Gibney, along with his three children, creating The Gibney Family Foundation in 1991. The extended Family is now excited to have the opportunity to carry on the Founder's dream.
The Foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations, within their scope of influence, which can demonstrate an outstanding ability to empower those who are challenged, particularly the blind, in their quest to live happier more productive lives.
Thank you to The Gibney Family Foundation for their support of the Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired’s public outreach.
