Braille Yearbook a First for VABVI

Alek Wolfe, a graduating senior at BFA St. Albans received his 2018 BFA St. Albans yearbook in braille. The team of Allie Futty, Stephanie Bissonette, Lauren Donovan and Jerry Doody completed the 323-page yearbook over six months.  Alek has worked with VABVI since he moved to Vermont in 2007. His passion for broadcast journalism fueled his work with the BFA Mercury where he served as the Assistant Editor. He started the Mixdown Radio show heard at: https://www.pscp.tv/AlekWolfe/1mnxeoyOwyQGX   Additionally, Alek ran a radio show on 99.3. Alek will broadcast live from Times Square during VABVI’s IRLE camp trip to NYC. After completing his summer internship at 101.3 ESPN, Alek will enter the Digital Journalism program at Northern Vermont University, Lyndon Campus. Go Alek!
