Wednesday April 14, 2021

10:00 AM – Carly Schuckers will discuss how to adapt various kitchen appliances.  Items include but are not limited to: electronic pressure cooker, air fryer, string pull chopper, French fry chopper and more.

 2:00 PM – Barry Hulce, the inventor of the “Low Vision Tablet Stand” will present his reading stand and discuss the wide array of possibilities regarding its use for tablets, smartphones and more.

10:00 AM – Scott Krug from New England Low Vision will share products that he feels are particularly helpful at this time for people who are blind and have low vision.

 2:00 PM – Roger Behm from Access Information Systems, is a vendor who is Blind from Wisconsin.  He will share products he feels are helpful and sometimes overlooked.

10:00 AM – Stu Flom of Adaptavision will share products that he feels all blind and visually impaired clients should know more about.

 2:00 PM – Barry Schroeder runs a company called Guide Lights and Gadgets out of the Carolinas.  As a vendor who is blind, he will share products he feels should not be overlooded.

 

Wednesday May 5, 2021

10:00 AM – Carly Schuckers will demonstrate a variety of labeling and marking systems for the home including systems which work with glass surfaces and touch screens.

 2:00 PM – Sharon Willie-Padnos of VABVI will discuss the pros and cons of different lighting systems and their impact on functional vision.
