Solar Eclipse 2024 in Vermont

Northern Vermont will be in the path of totality for the solar eclipse that will happen on April 8, 2024. The Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired plans to hold eclipse events utilizing the LightSound devices created by a team at Harvard. Vermont Public talks about the device and VABVI's plans here: https://www.vermontpublic.org/local-news/2024-04-03/how-to-enjoy-the-eclipse-if-youre-blind-some-vermonters-will-listen  VABVI will hold four eclipse events along the path of totality: Waterfront Park, Burlington, 60 Kimball Ave, South Burlington, the Statehouse steps, Montpelier and the Fairbanks Museum in St. Johnsbury.  The event at South Burlington should be the least crowded and will feature additional tactile information plus the LightSound Device. Hope to see you along the path!
